Shootings, Murders and violent crime in the windy city, up from 2016 already.
None of the fedguvs business. Funny how the GOP is all about small govt and adherence to the constitution until they are ones pulling the levers.
If anything need be done at the fed level,Trump should be advocating to end the drug war.
States rights any GOP'ers?

Martial Law might be going a bit far but the shootings need to stop.
It is odd how Obama never did much for his hometown in trying to stop the carnage but the excuse for inactivity was often tied to racial profiling and the evil overlord racist cops coming down on the poor black kids.
Stop and Frisk works and Sorry all you PC Social Justice Warriors but if the black teens are shooting the black teens in black neighborhoods then guess what it is not racial profiling but it is Police going to the source of the trouble and doing their jobs.
Obama released hundreds of felons from prison right before he left office and many of those were in for drug and firearm offenses. Why?
There is a new sheriff in town and it is refreshing to know that he is going to be tough on crime.
I'd be very wary of a President who says he's going to send federal troops into a major city, especially when it's obvious that he has no idea what he's doing. What would the objective be? If the troops are just there to keep order, would they be in place for a month? Three months? A year? Indefinitely?
Chicago officials and PD are purposely holding back until the people demand they toughen up. When the people demand things like stop and search without the ACLU looking at every stop then they will start proactively enforce the law.
Either that or they are incompetent which I doubt.
