The man who gunned down a Scottish toddler at a Turkish cafe in 2003 has died after he was shot at his own wedding.

Daimi Akyuz was killed on Saturday as he stepped out for a cigarette, only six days after being released from prison.

Akyuz, 46, had been jailed for life after he killed 2-year-old Alistair Grimason in the seaside resort of Foca almost 14 years ago.

Not sure why he was murdered, I didn't see why in the link. The father of the murdered child is a much more enlightened man than me. For him to be concerned about the gunman's family and their well being and "feeling sorry" for the gunman who murdered that beautifully little life, IDK, I guess good for him. Someone murders my family member they'd get the breaking wheel treatment from me, personally.
