My neighbor Steve is on vacation to Mexico. Why? Is he building the wall? Is he fleeing some wiretaps?
Who cares why ANY private citizen is on vacation ANYWHERE?
What is your point?
Apparently, you know more than Yahoo. Does one not speculate when a person goes away for a month without the wife to a tropical paradise by himself? How about this for a guess? He needs to get away from everyone to write his book. I know at least one person who must be ecstatic about it - his Secret Service detail.
Who cares? He's not president anymore and can do as he pleases. Just as long as he's not smoking marijuana.. since he never legalized it in office, it would be hypocritical for him to use it in his own personal life.
He's probably taking a vacation after being the president of a country filled with people who complain about the fact that he's in French Polynesia. I'd get sick of that too. Hell, I'm sick of it and it doesn't even really effect me.
Now maybe you can tell us why you felt the need to post this. It's neither political nor controversial. Just needed to get in a slam at President Obama? Because that's pretty much what it looks like.
The Trumpadumps can't get enough of the former president...or Hillary.
"Barack Obama arrived in French Polynesia where he will spend a month at a luxury resort frequented by Hollywood stars, according to local TV channel Tahiti Nui TV. Obama has checked into the eco-friendly Brando resort, whose villas boast their own plunge pools and cost between 2,000 euros ($2,150) and 12,300 euros per night. No political meetings have been announced during Obama's stay and it is not clear what he plans to do during the sojourn or whether his family will join him."
Is Valerie Jarrett renovating the new Obama home in DC? Do we not have an extradition treaty there? Is there some really great golf course there? Any other ideas?
And who cares? He is not the current president in the White House.
It's funny you should mention no extradition treaty, because that was my first thought.
