Even though the other thread flamed out, this topic is newsworthy, so lets try a more rational approach to the story.

Man faces hate-crime charge in Dallas County over tweet that gave Kurt Eichenwald a seizure | Crime | Dallas News

Guy gets angry when a journalist disagrees with conservative talk show host, and deliberately sends a text he thinks and hopes will cause a seizure, as he knows the journalist has epilepsy . Journalist has seizure, wife takes picture of text for proof after finding husband on floor seizing , and now the guy is charged with a federal crime of cyberstalking, and charged on the local level as well with a felony assault charge and hate crime.

If you know anything about federal charges you know the guy is almost certainly going to a fed pen somewhere. Few people get out of fed charges. And then he will still have to deal with the local charges.

Worthy of note; when a number of other (likely) conservatives found out about this , they werent horrified at such behavior (just as the OP of the now gone thread wasnt either ), they started sending other such type texts trying to cause more seizures in the guy, so much so that the authorities have had to issue warnings to others to stop or face possible charges themselves.

And now for the " Oh yeah , well liberals......." responses rather than simple condemnation of such behavior.
