All you need to know about the legitimacy of this claim is that Nunes took it to the media and the Ryan before sharing it with his own committee. And now that his committee has asked for it, Nunes is telling them he doesn't have it, they have to go the agency that does to look at it.

Default Obama Spied on Trump

To be clear "a person who seeks to obtain confidential information about the activities, plans, methods, etc., of an organization or person, especially one who is employed for this purpose by a competitor." If the Politico and New York Times report it, it must be true.

Technically there is no way to prove Obama did it. I am thinking, we will end up like this with Russian thing. It is all going to be moral show.

Of course he did. He probably spied on Romney too. And Bush spied on John Kerry more than likely. Politicians have been spying on each other for thousands of years. I would be more surprised if Obama didn't spy on Trump.

Something fishy here -- rush to let the public know -- vague, nothing specific...not accusatory but not dismissive....it's a mess.
I think he was intercepted and is scared.

The left knows how dirty they are. Proven again and again that they lied about Benghazi, about the IRS in collusion with the Obama administration for The IRS to intimidate groups supporting a Republican presidential candidate. Dirty democrats.

Trump did make the claim, and it came out to be true. Trump didn't just wake up one night and tweet that out because he made it up a few minutes ago. He was passed some information that was a basis for the claim. He then took the smart road, and said it was being investigated and without his interference. It paid off for him and the truth is out now to verify his claim. He was being spied on by the Obama Administration, since Obama was still President. All true, and you can't spin that.

Now all thats left is to see where the axe falls. They are not done yet. Just a preview of coming attractions.

How are we in denial. Have you even read the articles? This isn't even anything new. The day Trump made th claims people said that if it was done through FISA warrant then it mean that the government was spying on foreigners and that Trump or his team talking to those people under investigation would show up. And here Nunes confirms what was stated weeks ago, that the listening occurred through the spying of foreigners (that's what FISA is). So again Trump's claim of the government deliberately spying on him and about it being illegal still remains false.
