Problem with this poll. The majority of the country voted for the candidate who lost the electoral college vote. So you will see a higher # of people who do not want to change their vote.
actually the majority of the country voted for trump...a majority of California voted for Hillary giving her the 'popular' vote

Well there is that and there's also the Trump supporters that continue to blame the Democrats until the cows come home. The best poll would be 9 answers:
I voted Trump and I would change my vote today
I voted Trump and I would not change my vote today
I voted Clinton and I would change my vote today
I voted Clinton and I would not change my vote today
I voted third party and I would change my vote today
I voted third party and I would not change my vote today
I didn't vote but would vote Trump today
I didn't vote but would vote Hillary today
I didn't vote and still wouldn't vote today

Clinton got 4.3 million more votes in California so you are right there. Why, perhaps the "liberal California" caused Trump voters to think it wasn't worth it, OR California voters didn't want to vote Trump. Trump's biggest win was under 1 million votes in Texas at about 750k votes. Clinton also had 1.7 million more votes in New York and 900k more votes in Illinois and Massachusetts (all three of these states too make that margin alone), making Clinton win four states with larger margins than Trump's single largest win (New Jersey was 500k which still is larger than the Trump margins in Texas and Tennesee (his second largest margin around 700k votes.) Removing those four states, Trump would have won the popular vote easily. The problem I see is the coasts are one nation and the rural areas are another. Arizona is a perfect example. Outside of Flagstaff (a "city" that is a college town) Phoenix and Tuscon is where Clinton got most of her 1.161 million votes while besides some areas like say a Sun City, Trump's 1.252 million votes came from areas like Yuma and Prescott.
Didn't vote in the general election the first time, wouldn't vote again. Both candidates were equally terrible.
Hope you are not one of those who goes around griping about what the president does or doesn't do. You have no grounds for even putting your 2 cents worth in if you choose not to vote.
Sanders couldn't get votes from the whole country because most people (besides millenials) disagree with his socialist views.
