Yates warned Trump about Flynn weeks before he was fired, his own transition team warned him about his issues with foreign governments back in November. This is one reason why Pence has to be lying since he was leading the transition team, he must have known about Flynn when he said he didn't know. All this and he allowed him to sit in security briefings.
It was very apparent, during the election and beyond, that the National Enquirer LOVES Donald Trump. Every issue had positive things to say about him and they were accusing Hillary of everything imaginable. They went way out of their way to say horrible things about her and Obama, and yet they were always promoting Trump.
This is just one more attempt by them to aid their buddy in his time of trouble. If they toss Flynn under the bus it will hopefully divert attention away from Trumpy.
If they toss Flynn under the bus, Flynn could grab them by the ankles and pull them down as he's falling. Woolsey told Wall Street Journal things he knew back in September. The Trump Administration knew far far more than they are admitting and their hands are all over it.
Paul Manafort was Trump's campaign manager, was working for free and was being paid by Russia.
REVEALED: Paul Manafort’s shadowy Cyprus bank transactions under investigation by US Treasury

My best advice is to not read the National Enquirer. No good can come from this kind of risky behavior.
Not read the Enquirer? Noooo. Bat boy was my favorite story. Where else are you supposed to go for outrageous fake news? If it's good enough for Trumphole..........
Yaaaaawn. No one believes this crap outside of your privileged White echo chamber.
LOL, only the numbskulls drinking the Orangeade are stupid enough to believe that fat turd caught the Russian Spy Flynn as your superhero Comrade Trump told them!
Of course the people with actual brains know what a nut -job liar he is who toots his own horn every time he opens his mouth.
How's that for showing what a NUTCASE LIAR President Pinocchio is!
The National Enquirer?
This is the same rag that headlines stories like "I Gave Birth to an Alien" and "Hillary Clinton Only 6 Months to Live" not to be confused with "Cher Only 3 Months to Live"
C'mon Man!

I only see one nutcase here, though I see herds of them buying these rags while waiting at the register quite often.

"Orangeade", "fat turd", "Russian spy", "comrade Trump"....way to use that brain you referenced. I really feel outclassed by your superior intellect.
