If everything he said in this is true, then I have no problem with him defending himself here, he is 100% in the right. He does however say that he went to class wanting to know why his grade was the way it was, but never goes into detail about what he did or said, he doesnt deny the letter sent to the teacher either.

He leaves a lot of space for criticism.

I personally know someone who was expelled from getting his master's for being a conservative and writing his thesis that Thomas Jefferson was a conservative. His professor had him expelled and did not accept that Jefferson was a conservative. This is how bad it is.

The great Roman historian Tacitus wrote about it and that seems to be good enough (along with other references) for most historians.

I'm going to have to say it's pretty firmly substantiated but it's not like we have pictures of it so there will always be doubters.

Tacitus mentions Christ and Christians in his "Annals of Tacitus". He didn't think too highly of them, either.
