The statement she made is that although she is technically an illegal alien, she paid taxes. Since she probably filed online - as any good millennial would - it would be a little hard for her to hold up a laptop with her return. She didn't pay any federal taxes because most college students like her don't make enough to owe taxes.

Holding a blank 1040 is known as symbolism.
I wonder whose social security number she used when filing and then there are those pesky under the table wages.
Regardless, illegals and others that don't accurately report income are likely a big part of the reason why large urban areas have high regressive taxes.
"Viral" on the internet has lost its meaning. Just saying something is viral doesn't mean it is. Disingenuous lazy journalism as usual. Kind of like when they post some "controversy" and it's like two or three people on Twitter complaining about something.

"Wanna tell me again how I should be deported, contribute nothing and only leech off this country while the 1% wealthiest people in this country steal from you everyday?"
Yes, you should be deported, you leech off the country, and good job on your accusation towards wealthy US citizens.
You parents failed you, they are selfish and put you into this situation. Do not blame the US, blame your parents, they are the ones who lied to US officials about their intentions when applying for the visa, then carried through with their intentions by not returning to Argentina. Additionally, it is people like your parents who have made it difficult for others (like my relatives) to get a simple tourist visa to visit relatives in the US, due to so many like your parents over staying.

She's a "dreamer" so she has a legal social security number and she pays into the system, but cannot ever receive any benefits from it (though her US children could someday).
