And no, it doesn't matter whether the guy is a democrat or a republican.

Isn't it sad how politicized the media have become that, more often than not, its common knowledge that the exclusion of a party label in an article headline (sometimes within the entire article itself) is evidence that the perp is a Democrat? Much like how the exclusion of a racial description within an article is often an attempt to hide that the perp is black/from another minority group.

It is sad. Had Keenan been a Republican, there is zero doubt in my mind that his party affiliation would have been identified in the first sentence of the article if not the title.
Most local elections in Ohio are non-partisan. Most of the time you don't know any party affiliation of your mayors and council members.
