The MSM has had it out for O'Reilly for years they're just butthurt the most watched person on cable news isn't some ultra left wing liberal. CNN and MSNBC both have a vested interest in trying to smear him they don't have anyone with ratings as good as O'Reilly. They can't compete with him.
He might be a sleazy guy but I can't see him being any worse than a guy like Bill Maher that doesn't even believe in relationships and only dates models.
well here's the difference- one dates models who are willing/consenting adult participants and the other calls up women who work for him and touches himself on the call under threat of firing....not quite the same, huh?

That's pretty much what people said about Ailes and he is gone, meanwhile they keep telling us how much Fox News has changed. If he wasn't their prime draw he would have been gone long ago.
Funny how you failed to mention Bill Clinton as well. As you no doubt remember, it was his multiple overt acts of perjury during the Paula Jones sexual harassment case, all felonies committed by him during his presidency, that led to his impeachment. (There wasn't any doubt about his guilt as far as sexual harassment goes, of course, in addition to all the other unprosecuted sexual offenses he was alleged to have committed.)
So, for reasons you have yet to adequately explain, you omitted any mention of Public Enemy No. 1 on the sexual assault/harassment hit parade. The grand-daddy lecher of them all...the Big Kahuna El Numero Uno public sex offender of all time, who for some reason, goes completely unmentioned in your litany of complaint.
Since I'm in a magnanimous mood today, I'll give you another shot at this.

O'Reilly has been pretty good at deflecting this scandal for years. There have been many women, but it's getting too big even for the top star of Fox. With guys like O'Reilly, Ailes,Trump, Cosby (and many others) it's mostly about power. All have a history of sexually abusing women, but there were always enough people who looked the other way.
Murdoch does like money, and while he wants to push his right wing version of reality all across the western world, he has shown the smarts to at times follow the public rather than lead it. In this case they are likely to not only get rid of rapey reilly they are likely to pull Fox back an inch or two, becausee they are clearly too far right at this point and have embraced the "breitbart" world too fast.
Fox is likely to dial back, and then slowly get back to the hateful business of profiting from fear, racism ,sexism, bigotry, etc..
