Do you have any data as to the low life getting the majority of abortions? I have been looking for years for reliable data as to who gets abortions.
There was once a theory that the crime rate starting dropping when we got the lead out of gasoline, too.
But then the ADHD started going up. Those kids are risk takers. When DD started looking into it, ADHD kids were either the cops or the robbers due to their constant need for stimulation.
For whatever reason I thought Freakonomics was only a podcast on WNYC. Regardless, this doesn't surprise me. Access to contraceptives and abortion has been crucial in reducing poverty in developing countries. It wouldn't surprise me if the same affect was seen in the U.S. I don't morally agree with abortion, but it isn't my place to dictate my views on others.

They didn't say the women who chose not to have children were low life's. They said they were women who felt that they were unable or unwilling to raise a child at the time. Makes sense.
