Society wants this from the police.....believe it or not, because they live in fear of crime....especially from minorities and the police is the only thing protecting them. They are willing to accept collateral damage among minorities rather than what they see as the potential of increased victimization of whites, if the police don't control minority communities.

No society doesn't want this. Society wants law enforcement to be held accountable.
Should've complied....... if you watch the video you can see how this guy was assaulting the officers. Especially when the 2nd one arrived, while he was handcuffed to the ground. No doubt the officer was in fear for his life.
Horrible decision by the Dept. to fire this brave cop, for setting this subject straight!
