I want the whole program suspended indefinitely pending a full reevaluation based on the fact US citizens were displaced.

And slam the door on people getting green cards from H1B program

Those scammers would say anything to get business. They dont even file that may H1B's compared to their competitors.

With AWS sweeping the entire IT infrastructure and the entire IT industry, I will be surprised if any IT software jobs could stay in the U.S.

Everyone is now able to able to work remotely from anywhere in the world. Why would American employers hire any U.S. based IT work force to pay 6 figures to an Indian techie and provide him super expensive health care coverage when they can now have the same work done in India for 1/10th of the cost and no need to provide benefits or health insurance?

Thank God.

I also read of recent articles where Indian companies are upset about this whole thing.

So obviously SOMETHING is finally being done about this madness, unlike past presidencies where everyone was afraid to touch this with a 10 foot pole.

Hmm, I wonder why all of a sudden the H1B lunacy is being taken seriously, when it was glossed over in the past. Anyone.....

I thought that was the method Trump uses to get employees for his resorts. Temporary employees from other countries. Nothing wrong with it--they work and go HOME. It's not like hiring illegals because we know who they are and they are only temporary. Of course, if there are Americans willing and able to do the jobs, they should be hired first.

Good, it's about time the H1B nonsense came to an end. Anyone else catch the 60 Minutes story of Americans being forced to train their foreign replacements?

According to USCIS premium processing of applications has been suspended.

The Congressionally mandated AP of 65,000 continue continues to apply with an incremental cap of 20,000 for those with advanced degrees.

According to USCIS premium processing of application has been temporarily suspended.

Sound like employers will not be able to pay a higher fee to jump the line.
