I was talking to a top level manager in one of the major wireless companies who is also a close acquaintance. I knew they were big on H1Bs and outsourcing in general. Asked if Trump's election has changed the H1B picture. She said it's over. Accenture is their outsourcing agent and has told them H1Bs aren't issued anymore. Everyone is now able to able to work remotely from anywhere in the world. Why would American employers hire any U.S. based IT work force to pay 6 figures to an Indian techie and provide him super expensive health care coverage when they can now have the same work done in India for 1/10th of the cost and no need to provide benefits or health insurance?

It's not like hiring illegals because we know who they are and they are only temporary. Of course, if there are Americans willing and able to do the jobs, they should be hired first.
Good, it's about time the H1B nonsense came to an end. Anyone else catch the 60 Minutes story of Americans being forced to train their foreign replacements?

Sound like employers will not be able to pay a higher fee to jump the line.
"And then you tell it to select all records and then delete."
That works as well.
