Just like that one case being discussed right now, where the guy killed his harmless 83 year old neighbor and burned his body, some people are just evil and need to be gone.
By trying to make it personal and invoke emotions you do the exact opposite on what is needed to make an informed, sound decision.
Plus you missed the point, it's about the rights of the individual.

And this is why I am against the death penalty. Unless we have a perfect system in place to determine guilt, the state should not be executing people.
Research suggest around 4% on death row in the US are innocent.

US death row study: 4% of defendants sentenced to die are innocent - Guardian

The powers of the state have to be balanced against the rights of individuals and the rights of victims and their families, however the execution of innocent people can never be justified and levels of certainty as to guilt in such cases much be absolute and without any doubt.

LOL. Go re-read the thread. The other poster called you out appropriately. So far the only hissy fit is yours.

LOL Have someone explain my very simple post to you. So far the only ones throwing the hissy fit are those who write checks with their mouths.

Give them life if they are guilty.
Give them the death penalty if they are really, really guilty.
