Le Pen came in 2nd today and will not win the run-off. Go to today's %'s and give all the left or centrists to what Macron got today and he's over 50% in the run-off.
The French voter is not as stupid or gullible as the tRUMP supporters were.
Trump is no Le Pen. Le Pen is a raging right wing nut case with more than a dash of David Duke thrown in. Trump is a moderate conservative. His main failing is his lack of experience and his temperament. But his political positions are more or less centrist - especially since he took office. While I am disappointed that Americans could elect Trump, I would despair if they could elect a Le Pen.
She asked for a recount because some of the districts had very close results and potentially questionable results, how is that conning people out of money? It's part of the voting process
1. She didn't recount the states with the closest results. She picked the ones with the closes results that Trump won.
2. One of the recounts didn't even happen. And yet, no one got their money back.
3. She collected far more money than the actual recount fees. And kept raising the goal every time it was met.

That's exactly the way the left does it's thing. The only time they get riled up is when a) you disagree with them philosophically and b) you are not a minority. That's when the ovens get lit.
As for the French, in general, they are now living with their (or rather their government's) stupid choices. Hopefully Le Pen can delay the complete collapse of the French culture and heritage, which by the way, is a huge part of our own even though many of you love to crack jokes about the French in general. Assuming you are mainstream America, half of your language is French and many of your traditions are French. Having the French culture obliterated by invaders from the south is not a good thing. I'll bet Islam hasn't been so orgasmed out since the conquest of Spain. Only thing is, I'd doubt the French (or we, in a few years) will have the balls to expunge them as the Spanish finally did.
