Religous extremism whether it is Muslim or Christian is terrible. The fact that many posters believe Muslims are unique in their beliefs indicates they don't have very much knowledge about the world. You'll find the exact same things happening in Uganda, but the right wing media would never tell you.
Bingo. It absolutely happens in Uganda and Christian ministries have helped to foster the hate for gays in Uganda. It's why I no longer donate to any mission trips to that area.

I've seen ZERO Christian response, much less anything from the current occupant.

My facebook feed has been covered in people (mostly deeply religious Christians) expressing outrage on this and demanding action.

The wiring in their brains does not allow for logical thought. Logical conclusions are as foreign to them as an alien from the other side of the universe. These folks all got F's in math, logic, and critical thinking right from first grade. But because they were special snowflakes, they were sent through our school system with a pat on the head and a wink. Now here they are... with no thinking skilz and no ability to comprehend even the simplest reason or logic. How do you expect to explain to them that Muslims kill gays because that is what their doctrine and leaders tell them to do when they can't even grasp the notion that two plus two is four?
