Here's a pretty good summary of this "tax plan"
The White House just outlined its tax plan. Here's what's in it

Excellent plan! Looking forward to it! Let the whiners whine and Americans celebrate!

It looks like we're going to get Trickle Down II - the Revenge of Reagan! I can just hear the Republicans screaming in a couple of years that they have to cut social programs (Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid) ...after their big military spending buildup and their corporate tax cut, because there isn't any money left!

How about we cut the military budget to where it is equal to the next three highest military budgets of other countries, instead of the top 17? We'd have enough left over to do single payer health care.

Also that 35% corporate tax rate is a joke! With all of the loopholes, the average is about half of that rate! How do you think companies like GE end up paying 0%? I hear a lot about dropping the rate ...but closing all of those loopholes you could drive a truck through ...not so much!

In every company I have worked for or am familiar with, hiring increased when demand for their goods or services increased.

We could cut the military budget by 1/3 and there will be zero impact of defense because so much of it is swallowed up by handouts to defense contractors and unnecessary programs like the Littoral Combat Ship.

so do it, i am in the top few percent, so while i know this could never go through it would hand me enough money each year to add to my property portfolio.

Warning kids if this went through house prices are going to grow to the sky. I mean if i no longer have to pay my taxes what would i do with the monies but buy hard assets for when the whole thing goes blows up.

This is nothing more than "voodoo economics" all over again. Take 4 trillion of revenue out of the government coffers, and then it all magically reappears due to stronger economic growth triggered by the tax cuts. Also, deficits and debt go down and everyone is better off and happy - right!

Typical repub BS as the numbers don't and won't add up.

Trump's plan will mean BIG tax increases for middle class taxpayers who itemize and savings for those who don't. No more exemptions, no deductions for education, health expenses, state and local taxes. Middle income homeowners with children will be seeing a YUGE tax bill if this passes. Thanks GOP.
