This 15% is going to be entertaining. That means budget cuts. Will Social Security Disability get reduced? End farm subsidies? Medicare and Social Security privatized? We know military spending won't be reduced so what's going to get cut?

Cuts can and should be made.

Nope. Right wing myth.

Myth: Any new corporate taxes will just get passed on to consumers
Often, if taxes are raised (or other costs go up) for businesses, the owners say that they will just raise prices and pass the costs on to their customers.
This claim is often accepted as fact because many people don't know about "elasticity of demand".

Elasticity of demand is perhaps the most important basic idea in economics that many people don't know.
It's a little technical, so here's a short version and a long version.

The people who were born disabled are currently getting $700 a month. How much do you think it should be cut, PedroMartinez?

It almost certainly will be another assault on the disabled which will pay for a chunk of this gift to Trump himself and his cronies.

"Sometimes" companies can thrive with high wages/labor costs but certainly not always. There are a lot of variables that determine if a company can thrive in any given environment. If a companies cost of labor or its regulatory costs exceeds that of their competition, "thriving" becomes far more difficult! As someone who has built companies in multiple economic sectors, I can tell you first hand that in many instances, regulatory costs can be substantial and serve as a deterrent.

I've addressed this pro-tax editorial several time, and I'm done doing it.

Taxes are overhead. Overhead is part of cost. Period.

Specifically, who said to cut SSI to the truly disabled?
