Mail fraud? Also seems investors were getting bilked by Fox News network paying bogus employees out of investor funds.

Investigators from both the USPIS and the Justice Department have been conducting interviews in recent weeks -- including with some former Fox staffers -- to obtain more information about the network's managers and business practices, the sources said.

Investigators have also been asking questions about mysterious confidants of Ailes -- people who were known inside Fox as "friends of Roger."
Ailes, through Fox News, employed a number of longtime friends as consultants, for purposes that remain unknown. One of the consultants earned $10,000 a month by submitting a monthly invoice to Fox.
there's probably a good reason that President Stupid has been such a vocal Fox supporter and fearful of what internal documents will come to light, perhaps he can wave his magic hair piece and make this go away
We get so many lame posters who attack CNN when is it measurably more honest than FOX... i mean the data is there and still they cry little babies.
I think they do it because they are angry to see real news reported.
This Story talks about a real federal investigation into illegal acts that may have conducted. ie real factual news... foxers hate this stuff, they want to see stuff that makes them feel strong and powerful in a world where they lack power. Many fox viewers just want things simple. They want their world to be like old cowboy movies where the embattled hero in the white hat shines through and wins. But this requires enemies wearing black hats.
Thus Fox gives them a feeling of control, with an easy to understand cast of actors who are either Heroes or villains. it is a winning recipe for fox and a losing one for America.
More trouble for Fox News. Now a class action lawsuit against Fox News for racial discrimination!

At least 11 current and former employees accuse executives of fostering a "culture of severe racial harassment." Kelly Wright, the only black male anchor on Fox News is speaking out about the alleged racial discrimination. His claims are part of a class action lawsuit filed this week against Fox News.

Nah. Trump likes Fox because they like him. He loves anyone who strokes his ego.
I seriously doubt he can do anything substantial to help them get out of this, though...
