Their unhingement has outed their true hateful and destructive nature....I'm sensing a complete and total Republican domination in 2018 & 2020.

This country needs a balance of power to work properly. At least the pubs are fighting amongst themselves and attempting to make their bills better. The dems, on the other hand, are just lockstep drones playing to their shrinking (and mostly extreme) base.

The OP made a valid observation. The dems are wandering the desert at the moment. I'm not sure they can actually come back to their core beliefs, or if they even want to. They are heading toward their demise by a monster of their own creation.
Republicans haven't done swat except squandering the power they already hold so I wouldn't worry about them "ramming" anything through.

Of the 25 seats they are defending, 10 of them are in states that Donald Trump won. Five of those 10 -North Dakota, Missouri, Montana, West Virginia and Indiana are states Trump carried by double digits. Only one Republican ,Dean Heller of Nevada represents a state that Hillary Clinton won last November.

The repubs may be looking at a supermajority, having control of the House, you could have a filibuster-proof Senate majority that would give President Trump the ability to push through legislation and approve appointees like a Supreme Court nominee with Democrats powerless to stop him.

The dems just dont understand the power of issues like border security, immigration, job outsourcing and globalism etc has, not to mention a very isolated DC/Hollywood/manhattan media that does a great deal of harm
The Senate IS bleak for the Dems.

As for the house. Dont bet on much movement. Many districts are hopelessly lopsided meaning even in Gerrymandered OH there are Dems and MD a few GOP.

It's the Big Business class that's pushing for the elimination of sovereign nations, because sovereign nations have annoying things like labor, consumer, and environmental laws that stand in the way of higher profits. It's not "the liberals" who are pushing for open borders and weaker governments.

Depends on your definition of right-wing - I'd call them extreme libertarians - but you're right, it's not a mainstream liberal position.

Obama was right in the D mainstream when he prioritized beefing up active border enforcement, deporting bad actors, and favoring a path to citizenship. That is simply not an open border policy, no matter what some folks think.

Again, BOTH political parties support open borders, illegal immigration, job outsourcing, and globalism. It's not just the Democrats. Conservative hero Ronald Reagan declared an amnesty for illegals, and both parties enacted globalization and free trade policies in the 1990s. Bill Clinton signed NAFTA, and Republicans in congress voted for it by a large margin.

It is George Soros and his "Open Society Foundations" that are funding most of the protests against Donald Trump. Keep that in mind.

I watched an interesting video on Youtube this morning that was about how the border wall in San Diego has benefited San Diego, and made some of the border communities much safer. They were talking to one of the city officials (someone whom I am familiar with from our past life in San Diego).

I don't think it needs a "balance" when the other side of that scale is blatant socialism (or Marxism), which is what the Democrat Party is today. No thank you! We don't need any of that.
