Ex Knick Charles Oakley was banned from MSG for less, stadiums have banned people in the past but pretty tough to do that for someone that just attends a few games.
.
They had the guy who reported him for the comment on CNN this morning. He was white but married to an AA woman, and there with his son and fil.
He said he asked the guy to repeat the comment to him to make sure he heard correctly, then repeated it again to make sure, before going to security. He was actually looking to have the guy or his own family moved as he didn't want his son to hear comments like that during the game.
Soooo, white male Bostonian turned the guy in.....yet the ongoing story in the media is about evil white males and how Bostonians are racist.
Seeing that the Red Sox are a private organization(even though the lines are blurred as Im sure their stadium was tax funded), what would your next course of action be. A person was just banned for life from the stadium for using the N word. I actually agree with that, if I had a private company I would do the same. However, at this point I would ban anybody, anytime that used the N word in he park. Strict 100 percent enforcement, no tolerance. So on what grounds will the Red Sox justify selectively banning some who do use the word and some that dont? Is that not discrimination in and of itself?
LOL at anyone who believes a lifetime ban is in any way enforceable. A bigger LOL to those who STILL do not understand the difference between an AA calling another the N word and a white person doing it. How can you not get this by now?

Please tell me the difference...
I don't use it out of respect for those who have suffered in the past. And I better not hear my kids use it...
Besides - it seems hypocritical to me to tell someone else to not do what "I" do.
The Red Sox own the facility - they didn't take tax money to build it nor do they lease it from the city.
Then it's their rules and I respect that.
