Pre-existing conditions: Pregnancy, sleep apnea could make you pay more - CNN.com

An analysis of major health insurance companies' lists of pre-existing conditions did not reference erectile dysfunction, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't qualify as an uninsurable condition.

I suspect the vascular or diabetes complications that are the cause of many men's ED are, in fact, considered pre-existing conditions.

Like she said

It is a side effect of a lot of things, including prostate cancer.

Who says it won't be. Under Trumpcare, as in the past, virtually any medical condition will be a pre-existing condition that will subject the applicant to higher rates or denial of benefits if not disclosed. These conditions will not make one uninsurable except in extreme cases (allowing Republicans to say that you can get insurance even with pre-existing conditions). You will just get charged much more for having them.

Well, I'm a woman, but from conversations with women friends I know of plenty of men over 50 with ED with no underlying condition.

It will be new for some that they won't just be able to sign up for insurance online but will have to provide a detailed personal and medical history and undergo an exam by a company nurse before they get the cost quote for their policy. They will ask about ED, because it is a red flag. That's how it was before Obamacare.

According to the President and Paul ryan the bill does include Preexisting conditions. It was one of the primary focal points of this bill.

Consider your source. CNN?

Still this bill is 100 better than Obama Care which was useless.

Most erectile dysfunction is the result of the barbaric act of circumcision that is thrust upon males at birth. Nature put the foreskin there for a reason. Studies have shown erectile dysfunction is 4 times more common in those that are circumcised vs those that are uncut. Yet another example of why western medicine and the medical complex in this country is heartless and all about $$$$$$$. Why do you think circumcision is basically non existant in Europe? The medical industry causes problems through unnecessary surgeries, unnecessary medication..both of which create more problems and thus the flow of $$$$ is guaranteed in the form of a vicious cycle..

BBM~~ Sorry but you are so mistaken to assume such a thing. In fact by removing the foreskin, the sensitive tissue is MORE Exposed.. thus for some just having clothing rubbing against it can stimulate. Guess, you are reading far too many mis-informed sites to gain the reality of the issue.

As, I said.. It's mental/emotional ( STRESS)/ Hormonal/medication/diet at times that cause decreased libido! Circumcision is just a convenient excuse as a now retired HC giver who actually knows a bit about it!

Sex-Drive Killer: Low T
The "T" hormone, testosterone, fuels sex drive. As men age, their T levels may drop a bit.
Sex-Drive Killer: Depression
Being depressed can shut off pleasure in many things, including sex.
Sex-Drive Killer: Menopause
Sex-Drive Killer: Lack of Closeness
Sex without feeling close can slay desire. Intimacy is more than just sex.
What Is Testosterone?
Testosterone may be the most notorious of hormones. It conjures up thoughts of muscles and masculinity. In fact, testosterone does fuel sex drive and muscle mass, but it also regulates mood and bone strength. When a man's level falls below normal, a doctor may prescribe shots, gels, or patches. But there is some debate over who needs treatment.

Funny!! I didn't see anything mentioned about being circumcised mentioned in that long list!!
