Federal Trade Commission (FTC) needs to be fined and kicked off of social media completely

Talk about an abuse of the site

And fined bigtime

Seriousl.... trolling Celebrities websites on social media and demanding they stop endorse products on their OWN PAGES??

Our Tax dollars do not go to pay for the FTC to spend all day on social media harassing people.

Someone need to do their job instead of dick-ing around surfing various websites for victims.

Who-ever is responsible from the FTC for threatening these celebrities needs to loose their job(s).

Un. Fricken. Believable

They didn't say that they couldn't endorse products. They said that they had to more clearly explain that they were paid to promote the product. Bloggers and other websites have to do it too. I really wish they would more clearly state how they want this done, but it's not quite as you portray. This has been going on for years.

Did you even read the article? Do you understand what the FTC is and that they were doing their jobs?

You're entire post makes basically no sense. The FTC is actually one of the good agencies we have as consumers. Be thankful. And you likely don't own a business, manufacture anything, or work in intellectual property---trademarks and copyrights just to start.

The government is keeping me safe from Allen Iverson persuading me to buy sneakers.

I'm so grateful I think I'll personally raise my taxes to keep up this vital service.

Hardly what's going on. They could care less if iverson persuades you to buy shoes. It's how he and the shoe company go about it.

And keep in mind this is the same agency that protects the shoe company and any intellectual property iverson has.

How would you like to buy your new iverson Nike shoes only to find out you'd been duped by an online seller. The shoes are fake Nike and the iverson endorsement is not real. FTC is one place to take your complaint.

I don't care what celebrities or anyone says about ANY products on their own Social Media Pages.

They have that right.... just as we do

The FTC has NO BUSINESS nosing into any possible financial arrangements between two people they've decided to stalk on social media

FTC needs to be WORKING such as responding to complaints. Not surfing social media pages for victims they can randomly harass

Well, start an email campaign against them. I am sure it will do a lot of good.
