You are aware that the quotes in the story are all from the white friend, right? Nowhere in the article does is quote the black woman saying "woe is me, I'm black and life is so difficult."

You know that....Right? RIGHT???

If it happens to a non-black it's called social justice or payback.

From the OP:

Quote:
ACCORDING TO a report from The Root, a black, female American Airlines passenger said she had her first-class ticket demoted on May due to supposed overbooking while her white friend’s ticket was not — and received extremely poor and derogatory treatment as a result

Gosh life is so hard. Poor woman was demoted to coach and the reason had to be because she was black.

I get so tired of this whining. Day in and day out.

Well she did pay for first class. And according to the white person who broke the story they ignored her when she was raising the concerns. You're tired of the whining...the irony in that statement.

Of course you do!

Just like if a black family is having a picnic and it rains- the rainclouds MUST be racist, right?

plus if the weather forecast called for a sunny day, then that forecaster is a racist and riots must ensue!

This chit gets old quick!!

How can the world address REAL racism, when too much time is spent tilting at windmills?????

Yes, I'm tired of the whining. This alleged incident wasn't the end of the world and raising a ruckus about every perceived minor slight results in deaf ears......

Whether race played a part is debatable. What the government needs to do is end the practice of overbooking, you should only be able to sell the ticket for a seat Once.
