If "good" means "can do the job without making the rest of us look like idiots and possibly get us all nuked into the next millennium?"

Yes. I think he'll be a good president.

I don't care for him. Too religious.

Kinda has a creepy, villain vibe. Like that evil senator from X-Men.

He'll be fine, though. Unless he's somehow tied to all Trump's shenanigans and we wind up with Paul Ryan or Orrin Hatch if Ryan is involved.

I would prefer Ryan or Hatch. No, I do not like them, either.

But, well... I'm realistic. It'll be one of them unless something drastic happens.

It depends on how he handles his inevitable sex scandal with a dude.

Pence would do a fine job as President but I would bet that the Democrat Media Machine that is in full destruction mode with Trump wouldn't slow down if Pence was the President.

They simply cannot stand that they lost and will do their best to smear and discredit anyone beyond one of their own.

Pence has been too willing to be Trump's towel boy. He may have inadvertently inflicted some bad self-damage in the past 4 months that could bring him down.

But other than that, I think he's fully mature and has a much better perception of just how critical Presidential actions and statements are to the world. I don't think he has such a fragile ego as Trump's, either.

So he will be a safer President by far, if not one as popular. But, given the chance, Pence could become very popular too, as he's a solid conservative, even if he isn't flamboyant.

As one that suffered through his governorship--NO! He inherited a state in a good economic position. He didn't need to worry about it so he focused on pushing his faux Christian agenda through instead. He's also an opportunist. He ran for governor on the heels of a well-liked and respected, by many, Republican governor.

He signed a law that would have forced women that miscarried to cremate or bury the remains--no matter the timing of the miscarriage. It was struck down by the courts. That was just one example of his faux Christianity.

He sold his soul to the devil to be VP. He intended to run himself until the whole RFRA backlash. This was his chance.

It really is a toss up for me which one is worse: Trump or Pence. Last poll I saw had Pence rated even less favorably than Trump, if possible. That was a few weeks ago though.

Given the options, Hatch is looking like a good hope. That's saying a lot.

Pence will be great right after Trump finishes his second term.
