We've clearly seen a tide of populism sweep through against "the elites" and pretty much anyone with an educated, experienced, or otherwise qualified, data-driven perspective on anything. Facts and knowledge have taken a big hit. Anything that even looks like a critical fact is branded as "fake news" while Trump shills work overtime to put out brazen lies about crowd sizes and illegal voters as "alternative facts" on the same level of credibility as verifiable ones. No, I'm not going to defend everything Obama ever said, and of course he told his share of lies. We're used to lying politicians, but now it's been taken to a whole new level under this administration.
It's time that people start to get vocal about what this really is: an attempt to manipulate and control. It's about selling people on propaganda. It's about silencing criticism and deflecting accountability.
I see through this bull**** that you're trying to spread everywhere through sycophants like Conway and Spicer, who are paid big money to lie. People are going to catch onto this game and the tide will turn because they are not as stupid as you think - and people ultimately believe that there are facts out there that support an objective truth.
Let's start calling out this trend made famous by Trump, Trump shills, and conservatives at large: it's BULLSH*T. Plain and simple.
The sad fact (for you) is your outlook is of little importance to everyday Americans.
You are in the Liberal echo chamber where you actually think your side has the high ground.
Not.

This is opposed to the alternate reality universe where Trump supporters reside.
The one where an ongoing investigation that hasn't divulged results = "no evidence"
The one where Trump firing Comey on the heels of Comey's request for increased resources in the Russia-Trump investigation = Trump fired Comey because "he was doing a bad job".
The irony in this thread topic is palpable. Liberals are ones trying to manipulate and control people. Liberals are the ones that lie and commit smear campaigns on people to try and further their agenda. Conservatives aren't trying to silence criticism or deflect accountability by calling it fake news; they just know that what the left espouses as "facts" and "data" is really just nonthinking verbal spouting.
other way around. the govt machine and deep state (which is not the trump administration) seeks to control public thought and opinion against Trump to fit their progressive, liberal, military industrial complex agenda. obvious as the nose on your face.
Fake news is Faux news. They only tell the Republican Truth. That's different from the real truth....
And it's a good thing that we at least have Fox News to offset CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, the NY Times, the LA Times, and the Washington Posts 24 hour left wing liberal propaganda.

When did it become "liberal" to care about the accuracy of information? This transformation has been interesting to witness...
