But..but..but that means Dems will have to invent a new excuse for Hillary losing the election, never mind the FACT that Clinton 'colluded' with Saudi Arabia, one of the worst human rights violators in the world.

Interesting. Grassroots progressives don't even understand this "collusion" nonsense.

Trump may have or may not have colluded Politically. That's the red herring. The real issue and his real problem is in participating in the Russian laundry.

I'm not sure he did; his surrogates probably did.

Let the investigations run their course.

Then we'll know.

This is how I feel. Those around him, Manafort, Flynn, Page ~ clearly are Russian fans and steeply immersed in Russia.

Perhaps Trump was just their useful idiot. Wouln't surprise me.

OTOH - there is nothing Trump wouldn't do to win. A little russian involvement wouldn't have bothered him one whit as long as it was helpful to his campaign.

He has no morals, scruples or principles.

Seriously if it comes out that there was confirmed to have no involvement, there should be a backlash at the media 10 fold.

It is absolutely ludicrous the circus environment that has come about due to this unsubstantiated claim.

It SHOULD BE unacceptable to the American public to be dissuade by media outlets.

Since the cons always deflect to Hillary, I will too, on this:
Hillary was investigated on Benghazi for YEARS by Congress.

The GOP claim against her remains TOTALLY UNSUBSTANTIATED.

Russia would have hacked and influenced the election regardless of any co-conspirators. No financial or political favors would be required. That being said, I highly doubt Trump would be involved in anything nebulous with the Russians.

That only makes sense if people actually thought Trump would win, which very few did until he did. I know when I voted it was just a protest vote. I assumed Hillary would be president now. Unless Russians tampered with voting machines, there is no way they thought they could swing the election for Trump. It makes zero freaking sense. At best, they may have figured they could release those emails (if they even did) to delegitimization Hillary's presidency. I just don't see how anyone seriously thought Trump was going to win. Look at the threads on this board after the election and you can see that even the ones constantly saying he would win were surprised that he actually did.
