Trump has broad authority to declassify information, so he was probably within his rights to talk about it.
YAWNNNNNNNN more FAUX outrage from the lefties. Russia is an ally in defeating ISIS and the information was about an ISIS planned attack that can now be stopped...I guess lefties WANT ISIS to attack eh?
Tell that to the compromised agent from another country who the Russians can now ID. More blood on trump's slimy little hands.

It isn't about whether or not this is legal. You just don't give state secrets out to hostile powers.
"President Trump revealed highly classified information to the Russian foreign minister and ambassador in a White House meeting last week, according to current and former U.S. officials, who said that Trump’s disclosures jeopardized a critical source of intelligence on the Islamic State."
Former officials? Sally Yates, Clapper...maybe Susan Rice?
Maybe it's true, maybe it's not. How does anyone know how "special" this information is. Oh, WaPo printed it. A newspaper determined to take Trump down.
Libs, a lot of us Trump supporters look at this as just more hysterical bs from the MSM. Let's face it, as President this is Trump's call to make, not anonymous sources determined to delegitimize Trump.
Senior White House officials appeared to recognize quickly that Trump had overstepped and moved to contain the potential fallout.
Thomas P. Bossert, assistant to the president for homeland security and counterterrorism, placed calls to the directors of the CIA and the NSA, services most directly involved in the intelligence-sharing arrangement with the partner.
One of Bossert’s subordinates also called for the problematic portion of Trump’s discussion to be stricken from internal memos and for the full transcript to be limited to a small circle of recipients, efforts to prevent sensitive details from being disseminated further or leaked.

Russia isn't hostile. Russia is an ally especially in our war against ISIS. You lefties hate Russia because ya need someone to blame for losing a home run win of an election!
Because he has the 'right' does not make it right...Russia is not our ally...or even our friend.
One day he's blasting our intel agencies..the next he's bragging to the Russians that he gets great intel..briefed everyday.
The man's incompetent..and a menace to our long-term goals as a nation---I bet the NSA, CIA and others think twice about sharing sensitive intel again..with Bigmouth Trump

Get over it.
So a president could give any information to any foreign country, regardless of how it might harm the US, and it'd be okay? Is that what you're saying here? You're literally arguing that a president could be engaging in textbook treason and that'd be okay. Do you have any honor at all?
