Sorry - more real news to interrupt the day...

President Trump Is Sticking With the Iran Nuclear Deal

The State Department says it is telling Congress it will continue to waive sanctions on Iran as part of the 2015 nuclear deal. The decision comes just before the Obama administration's last six-month waiver expires.

By pairing the waiver of old sanctions with an announcement of new ones, the Trump administration is trying to show it's being tough on Iran even as it adheres to the nuclear deal for now. President Donald Trump has said he's reviewing the deal's future.

As much as I hate the deal, it is a deal and I understand keeping it in place. It's creative to add in sanctions outside of that framework to hold them to some sort of accountability.

From the day the deal was signed it was clear it was the best case in a worst case sscenario.

Republicans didn't think so -- it was the worst deal ever -- Trump agreed....and now this.

Flip flop flip flop flip flop what a flop.

This is the opposite of what Trump said throughout the entire campaign. He flip-flopped.

His campaign promises were a bunch of lies. He's flip flopping on everything.

I don't.

A deal with enemies as them is just a hassle for us and a benefit for them.

Holding your word with a bunch of liars and murders is just folly.

Trump was wrong on this 100%.

Obama should be arrested for his actions on this, holding to his deal is ridiculous and we should be OUTRAGED by it.

Then again, Trump was always a liberal, so no surprise. /shrug

Calls for adherence to law by the lawless is not a call worthy of attention.

Think on that a while.

I think he gets it right here. It's still a bad deal. That hasn't changed. But breaking the deal would probably create more of a problem in other areas.

So instead of worrying about who would call him a flip flopper, he did the adult thing.

So do you lower yourself to their level by breaking the deal? He is trying to work around it to get more sanctions in play.

Let's be truthful here... if Trump went around breaking all of Obama's bad deals, many of you would be whining to high heaven.

He has the restraint to keep a bad deal in place, and you want to call him out for that.

He simply can't win with many of you people.

If you hold to a deal that was made my fools, then you are also a fool.

Fact is, Iran would break the deal as soon as it suited them (and they probably are even now).

Not at all.

Obama specifically made deals to harm this country (and openly stated so). We don't honor the deals of thieves and liars. So, no.. we break them we move on to what is best for the people, not what is best for some stupid idealist.

This is what has allowed the progressives to destroy conservatives. They break the rules, urinate on everything and then put us in positions where we are strangled by our standards.

No...

If we hold to their set conditions, then we are a stupid people who deserve the foot of a boot and the edge of an axe and make no mistake, we keep up this ridiculous "standard" to subjugate ourselves to them and it will be the axe.

We didn't win against the British by standing in a stupid line and fighting by the "so called" standard of rules. If we do now, we are not Americans, we are stupid peasants that deserve what we get.
