In the interim, comey was asked if any superiors from the FBI or DOJ had ever wanted to stop an investigation for political purposes. Nobody mentioned trump's name, nobody asked about trump. An FBI person would only answer what is asked, nothing more. Oh, that all of us should be so detailed and acutally answer the specific question that was asked! The details matter.

Then if it was so bad, Why sit on it this long and not turn it over to the DOJ as the law says is done. That is 2 different counts of obstruction of justice?

Comey was asked if the Attorney General or senior officials in the DOJ asked him to stop an investigation.
He was NOT asked if Trump asked him to stop an investigation.
