The transcript speaks for itself. There is no need for clarification.
However, Trump also spoke in an interview last week and he verbally said that he was thinking about the Russia investigation when he fired Comey. Although the transcript is much clearer and more direct.
Then you have Comey's notes that give details about Trump asking Comey to, in effect, stop investigating Flynn.
Then you have the timing of when Trump fired Comey.
Then you have the WH giving several different conflicting reasons for firing Comey, which Trump
contradicted.
Oh well there you have it lol. Trump obstructed justice. Impeach him.
I'm sure it was all just a joke, right? Just locker room ribbing.
Get ready for the Trump defenders:
1- He didn't say that!
2- (When the aspect of having evidence is introduced) If he did, you misunderstood/misinterpreted it.
3- If you didn't, then saying it was justified.
4- If it wasn't, bring on the deflection, whatabouts and or democrats said it too!
Wash, rinse, repeat steps 2-4 as needed.
Don't forget the all-too-cleverly used "libturds".... "obummer".... "crooked hillary"......."illegals"....

I never loved Comey. Lie! Fact is he was a nut job from the beginning when he laid out the case on Hillary's guilty actions, then made the statement ...no prosecutor would take the case.
From the beginning Comey was off the wall. Comey should have given it to a grand jury to let them decide if there was enough evidence to go ahead with the case against Hillary. Comey, a really really loose nut job from the beginning..

Trump has definitely been a calming influence on the country, very humble, thoughtful.
He fired Comey the day before the Russian minister visited and then trashed him in front of them. You can disagree with Comey's decisions but you can't question his character, sad to see a grifter like Trump in charge making decisions on decent people. Comey has been a devoted public servant, Trump has only been devoted to money.
