My vote is Trump as well. He is not a Conservative, not even a Republican, but he sure is a great con man. He conned all of you into thinking he was both. There's not a better flimflammer out there.
Oh okay, since you're a lifelong Republican and all, I will add Trump to the poll.

Being a registered Republican my entire life, honestly I think the far right / alt right are really the RINO's. They co-opted the party, often for single issue matters.

Well, the alt-right is pretty mad at Trump for not doing as much as he said he was going to do........

Honestly, whether they are captured or not I think anyone who goes to war are heroes. And we treat them horrible when they come home

According to his biography, he did break and signed a phony "confession"under torture, but I can't hold doing that against anyone.

Here's an interesting version of his military and political history, seems that John McCain will do what is good for John McCain, and is not afraid to use his connections to get what he wants.

90% of NYC is democrat . It is hard to not be a democrat because the news is all liberal. Trump is pro gun, pro Christian, for borders, and yet is also for the working people which I am too as a conservative. I pretty much line up with Trump on the issues.

I voted for Perot because of his position on Nafta. Clinton was for opened borders and passed Nafta. Clinton went to CA to fight for the rights of illegals years ago.
At times he doesn't fully explain his position so it can be confusing but he has changed his stances on policies.

Trump was for intervention

Trump's first known public comment on the topic came on Sept. 11, 2002, when he was asked whether he supported a potential Iraq invasion in an interview with radio host Howard Stern.

"Yeah, I guess so," Trump responded after a brief hesitation, according to a recording of the interview unearthed by BuzzFeed News. Trump then alluded to the first Gulf War in 1991, which ended with Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein still in power. "You know, I wish it was, I wish the first time it was done correctly."

Trump said he wasn't going to intervene in other nations civil wars, yet he attacked Assad who is fighting Al Qaeda. Lied about non intervention and helped the terrorists.

Gun Control
"I generally oppose gun control," he wrote then, "but I support the ban on assault weapons and I support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun. With today's internet technology we should be able to tell within 72 hours if a potential gun owner has a record."

But in a policy paper released in September 2015, a little more than three months into his campaign, Trump offered a very different take.
"Gun and magazine bans are a total failure," he said. "That's been proven every time it's been tried. Opponents of gun rights try to come up with scary sounding phrases like 'assault weapons', 'military-style weapons' and 'high capacity magazines' to confuse people. What they're really talking about are popular semi-automatic rifles and standard magazines that are owned by tens of millions of Americans."

Flip flopped on NAFTA said he would end it now he's going to fix it.

Interesting poll, since MCain is probably the closest politician, policy-wise, to Ronald Reagan aka Republican Jesus.
