No charges for the woman please (it was stupid though to fire the gun into the lawn as he ran away, stupid Dirty Harriet fantasies)!

It's a small town, she & police know who he is.
She should have take photos or video with her phone, not fired a gun.
Video would have shown him "in the act". Detaining him at gunpoint just shows trespassing, not proof of buggery of a dog.

"Wilkinson says Lenkerd was attempting to detain the boy because she had previously reported him to police but was told he would need to be caught in the act."

I don't own a gun and I am unsure what I would do, but just hearing of that scenario makes me livid, so I actually don't blame one from reacting as she did (have not read the full story yet). It sickens me and I would be pretty flipped out.

Charges should never have even been filed.
Hope some mega lawyers will take this one for her pro bono.

Apparently the kid left his pants in the dog's yard, was seen running down the street in just his boxers, and was charged with two counts of bestiality. Kid definitely needs to be locked up, the question is just what is the appropriate institution. I suppose it kind of matter if he a serial dog rapist or if was he just "in love" with that particular dog...... oh, just yuck, too bad she aimed for the ground, good aim towards a particular spot might have been the better option.

Wasn't Bill Clinton from Arkansas.

I was always put off from visiting the South by films such as 'Southern Comfort' and 'Deliverance', it now turns out they were not movies after all but documentaries.

Clearly that young man has issues but she is an irresponsible gun owner. She shouldn't have pulled a gun on him. I'm sure he would've stopped just because he had been caught in the act. Having said that I don't think she deserves a felony for this but she should be charged with a misdemeanor.
