Exactly. CNN is obviously biased, but it still has standards. I'd say CNN is comparable to Fox News.
Infowars is more like Mother Jones. None of these 4 sources would be acceptable for use in academic papers, but anyone using the latter two would be considered absolutely mental.
How are all of these unnamed sources making dubious claims used by CNN, NYT, and WaPo acceptable, especially after they have been proven to be false repeatedly?
