Personal mistakes do not reflect principles
If there are some mistakes made by some of the Catholic clergy, it does not mean that the Pope encourages them
If you validate these acts according to the Bible you should refer back and read the Gospel
If you want to verify the acts of terrorists, you should go back and read the texts of the Koran greetings to you

Francis is the only pope who I've ever liked, even a little bit. There's never been anyone in political office, who I've disliked as much as Trump. If meeting with Francis causes Trump to alienate some of his supporters, then I will like this pope even more. Maybe Francis might even perform a miracle and bestow Trump with intelligence, humility and kindness towards others.

Why in the Hell shouldn't he meet with the Pope??? To feel betrayal is just laughable ~ I doubt they would reach much in way of agreement but, like him or not, the Pope is still a big figure and Trump should feel an obligation to break bread and share concerns. Will Francis persuade Trump to not build "the wall"? Very likely NOT.

Maybe Pope Francis will hear Trumps Confession? Then Trump would be free from fault on his healthcare plain taking it away from 24 million people ,or gutting meals on wheels or gutting Medicaid or kicking children out of the country or banning people from the country becuase of religion?

Am I right?

No, you're wrong. What a silly notion that people can't meet. Meeting someone is not submitting to them but of course you realize that already. Once again, your desperate attempt to alienate Trump and his supporters is a huge fail.
That "Globalist Church" has 1.2 BILLION people and it's the largest Christian denomination in the U.S not to mention the entire world. Any President would be not only foolish but stupid not to have a dialog with it's leader.

The pope gave trump a book on climate change :-)

I also heard he spoke Spanish to him - must have been thru an interpreter- rather than speaking directly to him in English. I wonder why? The pope's English is much better than Trump's.

The bigger question is will Trump catch on fire if the Pope touches him, maybe a little Holy Water splashed on him to see what happens next, hmmmmmmm.

Trump would rather keep people from being blown up, trying to keep the safe streets than climate change.

Do you even question the leaders of climate on how much they fly jet engines?

If Obama flew in to give a speech using the most polluted jet engines you guys would still cheer.

I prefer DT not meet with this Pope because of the unkind comments the Pope made. However, he will probably turn it into a win as he does everything else.

Can I ask why the "unkind comments" Donald Trump makes are okay but the Pope's are not and what did Pope Francis say that was unkind?
