Yep, the last paragraph. Aside from the concerns about the incident itself, the fact remains that he and his staff immediately and facilely lied about what happened. Anyone want to bet on whether the lies (on this or any other other subjects) continue as he serves his term in office?

Only arguing about the hyperbolic misuse of the term "body slam" by the media not arguing about what took place.

Anyone's statements to the contrary - like the one from his own campaign? What a jerk.

It wasn't his first rodeo with the press and won't be his last. Wait til he gets to capitol hill.

Gianforte only has about 9 months to serve before the need to start running again in the 2018 election. This short freshman term got off on the wrong foot for sure; after the heat of the election settled down, a lot of folks realized the reporter was just doing his job, and opinions began to change on Gianforte.

That's why he made all the apologies and all- it will all be remembered next year. He has to show he's calmed down now if he hopes to win again.
