I keep hoping that the moderate voters will get so sick of the yelpers at both extremes that they get off of their duffs and vote in some competent, logical center candidates. But unfortunately in this day and age, the yelpers seem to dominate the stage so far.

I think a 78 year old could live long enough to fulfill his term, but I also think it's very risky to elect someone that old. Reagan was about that old when he was leaving office, and look how he was towards the end.

I am not sure where Kasich actually stands on these issues but he takes a much softer approach to them than most Republicans. He's no Mike Pence, that's for sure. I can see somebody like Kasich challenging Trump in the primaries in 2020. If Trump even makes it to the end of his first term, he is likely to get some challengers unless there is some miraculous turnaround.

Obama was virtually unknown nationally before the 2004 Democratic Convention, and four years later he beat Hillary Clinton. And very few had heard of Bill Clinton before he ran in the early '90s. It doesn't have to be someone well known right now. Just someone charismatic and savvy enough to get through the media gauntlet.
Are you kidding me. My dad died at 93 and his mind was all intact. A number has nothing to do with anything. It depends on the person. I believe it has a lot to do with genetics too. I would vote for Biden.

In 2016, sure.
Wanna make a wager on 2020?

Nailed it.

Easy enough to google it, it's not like it's a state secret. He's consistent.

Again, nailed it.
I'm 68 y.o., the upper range of a candidate I'd vote for.
