It was one of the sillier agreements we had gotten into. It required us to cut back on emissions, hugely increasing costs and dialing back any chance for progress in most fields, quickly. While letting most other countries such as China, to keep right on polluting without restraint for the next 20 years.
And it was based on the completely unproven notion that man had had anything to do with the climate change we're seeing, or that he could do anything to reverse it. There has never been an iota of proof, despite the leftists searching for more than 40 years for it.
Obama's signing such a thing was a farce. Trump reversing it and pulling us out, was a return to the sanity we have long needed.
Now, the most adverse affects of any climate change will be comfortably down the road (very comfortably for me, since I will be 62 in two weeks). However, it does seem a bit self-centered to simply say "Let those born in 2100 deal with it". Of course, they will have to deal with it, regardless, but at least we can try to lessen the problem over the next hundred years.
Exactly!
I am in my 60's, and I feel the same way. It's not for us that we care about such things ...
Gee...O Gee whiz.....Is the USA not going to support Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring now.....What are we supposed to do now......I always liked Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring.....Whaaa...I WANT MY CLIMATE CHANGE BACK....!!!!!!!!.....
Exactly. "Global warming" is just a scheme to extract money from producers and give it to consumers by taxing productivity. We don't need no stinking piece of paper that hurts our economy.

I heard one prediction that the sea level will rise by 5 feet by 2100. Do you know why 2100 is chosen? Because most of us alive now won't be around to prove that wrong! More doom and gloom!
