worth noting that it appears TRUMP, has this exit rolling out over the next 4 years with the final EXIT one day after the next election to make sure TRUMP/Right can use this as a campaign tool for a 2020 run...
The good news is Trump will likely be hated even by his loyal core by that point and whoever runs will likely reverse what damage he manages to do..
I would suggest that any natural/raw resource leaving this country whether it's natural gas, coal or whatever have a hefty export tariff applied. The only thing we should be exporting is finished products.
Including the Canadian petroleum products crossing our Nation?
It won't be so bad as long as he stays committed to the terms. If he does that we'll have job creation with new, higher tech energy solutions, and the climate still might not be affected all that much in a negative way.
If he starts blabbering about coal and drilling everywhere he can, then we have a jobs problem AND an environmental problem.
So, we do defense with dictators, we gave trade leadership to China, and we join Syria and Nicaragua for the environment.
Nobody in their wildest imagination cold have predicted such a step back to the early 1900's in just four months.
God bless Comey. I hope he says the right things next week.
They will continue to line up to do business with America, and millions of their people will continue to try and immigrate to the USA. They will want to be a part of a country that puts its citizens first instead of living in a globalist hell hole.
This speaks for itself.
Actually- if the rest of the world is placing a premium on a diferent set of products or means of production and we abstain we will become a niche market. Think of it in terms of cars. The US market has such diferet preferences that US makers have problems finding outside markets for our more popular vehicles. On the meantime the Japanese and Germans come in with world cars or adjust models that sell in high volume elsewhere to our desired size/characteristic. Its easier for them to make an adjustment for our market than for us to convert our cars to theirs. So we'll basically either fall behind or be importing more- or buying US made products from foreign companies. I do not see any great scenarios in there.
"Still winning" implies that King Covfefe has already won something. What has Trump won during his term in office? And how will pulling out of the accord benefit the US exactly? All it does is hurt us. Our country is not an island. We are actually part of a larger thing called Earth, despite what some might believe.
No, it simply means that Republicans are not fooled by alarmist "science."
Republicans are too stupid to understand science. They're all idiots.
