House Intelligence Committee sends subpoenas to intel agencies
Three of the nation’s intelligence agencies received subpoenas Wednesday afternoon issued by the House Intelligence Committee, Fox News has confirmed, with each of the three demands for documents explicitly naming three top officials of the Obama administration: Susan Rice, who served as President Obama’s White House national security adviser; former CIA Director John Brennan; and former U.N. ambassador Samantha Power.
The inclusion of Power’s name on the subpoenas marks the first appearance of the former U.N. ambassador in the controversy surrounding the Obama administration’s use of unmasking.
Capitol Hill sources told Fox News they are devoting increasing scrutiny to Power – a former historian and winner of the Pulitzer Prize who worked as a foreign policy adviser in the Senate office of Barack Obama before joining his administration – because they have come to see her role in the unmasking as larger than previously known, and eclipsing those of the other former officials named.
I edited the title of the thread my apologies whole heartily. I worded it wrong
Agencies subpoenaed for White House leakers and they are from the Obama camp
How are these three 'White House Leakers?" They all lost their jobs on January 20th. As private citizens, they were instantly free to say anything they want to anyone they want (as long as it isn't classified).
So? I mean...being subpoenaed doesnt mean you are guilty of anything. I'm not sure why you felt that them being democrats was somehow significant. They have information that's needed, and they do not appear to be targets of the investigation unlike others. So....whats the point?
edit-Ah, never mind. CCBaxter explained what the point was.
