Excellent idea, but the chances of it happening are pretty low, because Inslee would veto it and there aren't enough votes for an override.
In other news, a bunch of pathetic "students" at Evergreen demanded (and got) excused from having to turn their homework in on time, because they are too busy protesting.
I will predict Evergreen State College is dead in the water, regardless of state funding appropriations. Mizzou's enrollment in the freshmen class has dropped 35% since it's black student lead riots in 2015.
I expect Evergreen will suffer the same fate and it should. Evergreen is a small college whose progressivism has run its course. My opinion and time will tell.
In 2015, the University of Missouri at Columbia (also known as Mizzou) welcomed 6,191 freshman onto their campus. But in only two years, the Chronicle of Higher Education reports freshman enrollment has dropped a whopping 35% — a dramatic decline that has led to the closing of dorms and major budget problems.
So what the heck happened that led to Mizzou to enroll its smallest freshman class in almost two decades? (Only 4,009 freshman made enrollment deposits this month.) According to the Chronicle, a lot of it has to do with protests that swept across the campus and made national headlines in 2015.

The value of an Evergreen degree has certainly plummeted. Employers will not be eager to bring that kind of racist and hateful drama into their workforce.

This article is for the 2017 freshmen class that starts school in August/september/October and it is defining freshmen as people who enrolled in May, LOL
Did you even go to college? because if you had you would know that deposits depend on when your loan/grant/scholarship went through and how long it took to process as well as when you started class(some school require verification that you have attended class and not dropped before they approve aid).
so freshmen deposits could drop as late as December.
Im not saying the numbers did or didnt drop, im just saying you cant measure a freshmen class in May.

Yep. A student from there is more likely to be a big pain in the butt as an employee. I can imagine some drama queen commie snowflake angrily marching into the HR office everyday with some new complaint about the "cisgendered nazi bigot of a supervisor". "He only got that job because of his white priviledge!" Worthless.
These are the people in the on deck circle to run this country.
