They are recreating Glass-Stegal, because they cannot just reinstate it. The ego's of these guys demands it has their names attached to it.

Yep, the Tea Party AND Occupy Wall Street were both railing against the big bank's utter devastation of our economy with their disastrous credit default swaps and slicing and dicing high risk loans, selling off the risk and pocketing the fees. Now, we have a govt. shamelessly bending over for Goldman Sachs again. What is AIG calling itself these days? They are still around, I used to share an office building with them, I just can't remember the name they changed to.

By some calculations, instead of bailing out the banks and AIG, we could have paid off the mortgage of every American family. What a fricken heist. Even the mafia dons would be ashamed of this one.
