It's typical that a handful of players in the NFL, NBA, etc every year skip the White House visit. In this case, the entire team agreed to opt out.

“All the tactics that he used to get elected are the very things that someone like me, who works with youth on a consistent basis, are the things that we try to talk our young folks out of being,” Warriors Forward David West said.

"We try to talk our young people out of being bullies. We try to talk our young men out of disrespecting women. We try to talk our young people into being accepting of other people’s opinions and other people’s walks of life. He is the complete opposite of all of that,” West added.

I wonder if West tries to steer young men away from music artists that have lyrics that disrespect women?

They need to scrap the white house visits. A simple congratulations via phone call is enough. It's become a political grandstand.

The Cleveland Cavaliers would likely have declined an invite as well. It is probable that almost all the NBA teams would do the same. It is possible that no NBA champion team visits the WH during the Trump presidency (would not matter if he resigned tomorrow or served full four years of present term).

Where are the women in the Golden State Warrior organization?

Yeah, the vast majority are on the floor in skimpy outfits shaking their assets.

Even the office is 90% men - Golden State Warriors Staff & Executives - RealGM
