Actually, blissfully believing in lies won't ease their pain. Trump's collapse will be a jarring shock to some.

Others will just refuse to believe it, will blame it on the deep state, Clinton, Obama, Comey, the media, Democrats ...

There is a reason Mueller is having no trouble getting people to walk away from strong careers to join his team and Trump can't get folks to sign on with his administration.

Even Kellyanne Conway's husband has declined to sign on to crew the Titanic.

Did you look in the mirror and tell yourself this when Obama was president the last 8 years?

What about when the Republican Congress & Senate did everything they could to block as much of Obama's legislature as they possibly could? Did you tell them to "just stop and let's get on with doing what we can to help our country?"

You would think this one "claim to fame" were something worthy of holy status the way those who devotedly latched onto Trump for POTUS repeat this mantra...

Yes, all you smarter-than-average Trumpsters, you hung in there with Trump all the way, and Trump became POTUS despite the odds, but let's not forget the story of Jim Jones and how it is not always the mark of pride or intelligence to follow a charismatic leader to wherever they may lead!

This is not an argument, or any sort of hole blown through it! This is the desperate clinging to any sort of "win" in the minds of Trump supporters while it seems all hope of what that win might mean for Trump supporters turns into a UUGE political mirage!

Not even saying this as a republican or democrat, but as someone looking in on everything - how have the Democrats lost anything? What are they being shut out of?

Trump is an emotional and organizational mess. I don't feel like he's accomplished anything despite having all three levels of congress and executive branch.

Trump doesn't seem to understand what leadership means, it's very difficult to watch as you can see the world turn away from us and go against us with a leader who seems to be lost and incapable of handling himself.

What is very frustrating is the want for progress and the belief we can do much better while we're stuck these four years watching Trump and the GOP do little more than come up with excuses for why they are not accomplishing much of anything. For Trump supporters this is apparently not frustrating. For all the rest of us, at least there is some solace in watching Trump and his administration grinding their own gears instead of actually moving their backward agenda forward.

Let's all face the facts either way, shall we? There is a group of Americans (not a majority) who view all that Trump represents as right and worthy while at the same time there are many Americans (maybe a majority) who view Trump as pretty much the opposite of what America represents or needs at this point in our history.

Just read the comments in this thread along with all the others, many from the same old posters intent on posting the same old repetitive nonsense about how white is black and black is white. You would think it would get old, and you would think especially the experienced posters would know better, but no...

Seems we're far more about claiming bragging rights to be "winner," insulting all who won't agree as "losers" and/or "enemies of the people," meanwhile the one percent of Americans making off with 40 percent of the wealth are laughing at us the whole way to the bank! (or to the Cayman Islands or Monte Carlo or the next $15,000 a plate fundraising dinner)...
