Why does anybody care what Trump has to say on this? He's an idiot and can't do more than paste together cute sounding phrases when he's not going completely off the rails.

And why do right-wingers even care? The shooter attempted to apply a "2nd Amendment solution" to politicians he didn't like - which is EXACTLY the type of criminal violence Trump himself promoted against Hillary.

If you voted for Trump, you have no right to say anything about this.

Did you vote for Trump? Then you voted for a "man" - I use that term very loosely in his case - who wanted his violent, dingbat supporters to consider a "2nd Amendment solution" against Hillary. In short, anyone who voted for Trump voted for this type of violence; it's only by dumb luck that the criminal in question happened to be anti-Trump.

But if you voted for Trump, you cannot speak out against gun violence since you voted for a slimebag who's fine with it, provided it only happens to people he doesn't like.

Sounds like the shooter took Trump's "Second Amendment Solutions" to heart.

I can't count anymore how many times I see stories of parents accidentally shooting their kids, kids shootings kids, brothers accidentally shooting their twins and on and on and on.

And yet the solution is......we should arm more people to try to reduce the level of gun violence.
We don't need a debate on gun control!

We need a debate on civility! It is the hateful rhetoric against a duly elected President that is the cause of this. CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS et al. are responsible. Rachel Madcow, Anderson Pooper, Wolf(man) Blitzer ...the whold damn bunch of Trump hating liberals ...AND Barack Obama and his OFA (Organizing For Action) Shadow Government. Even Hillary and Nancy Pelosi have called for violence.

No, we do not need more gun control!

I'm sick of the response that we should all hold hands and sing "Kumbaya." Enforce the law and arrest people who get violent and destroy property in the street and if the prisons are too overcrowded to hold them or hold them for their full term build more prisons. It can be the first of the infrastructure projects.
