There would be riots if he wasn't removed from power after an admission of guilt like that. You think "the left" is annoying now - just watch what would happen if Trump actually had the gall to do that. And I'd argue rightly so.

Just let the investigation play out without resorting to sketchy-ass tactics. The American people deserve to have this investigation seen through. If it ends and nothing comes of it - great! Then we can finally put it to bed. Trump intervening now would be a terrible thing for this country.
Bingo.

The idea that the only way this investigation can be fair is if he and the the kids are pardoned first is dimwitted nonsense.

If Trump pardoned himself and the kids, patriots would take to the streets. Not a doubt in my mind. The nation would come to a freaking halt.

60+% of us already think what's going on is a bunch of treasonous BS. Just wait until they pardon each other.

The US Constitution is very poorly written if it doesn't prohibit the President from doing that.

It's a gray area, as the framers of the Constitution never even imagined the situation would come about, but most experts questioned seemed to feel it would not end well for someone who attempted to do it, and it would not prevent impeachment.

It seems more obvious every day that Trump has a ton to hide. Pardoning himself?! And this whole "don't investigate my finances?" What if his finances demonstrate he is very much beholden to Russia? Ken Starr was only supposed to investigate a land deal and he expanded that to the White House travel office, FBI files, Rose Law Firm, Madison Guaranty, Paula Jones and Monica Lewinsky. None of those had anything to do with a land deal and the only thing he found out of multi-millions of dollars in tax payer money and seven years of investigating was a stained dress. Trump has been in office six months and is already talking about pardoning himself!

Trump is nuts if he thinks that announcing Mueller can't look into finances is going to make any difference.

The most disturbing part about Trump seeking information about pardoning himself and his whole crew ahead of any findings is the total silence on the matter from the Republican party on all of this. They have ceded the integrity of the White House in order to get some fat tax cuts for their billionaire pals. That should give everyone pause.

the Trump situation is getting interesting. he, his family and businesses have a lot to cover up since they started working with the Russian oligarchs. He should have know better than to borrow money from the biggest set of criminals on the planet.
And maybe Hilllary should have known better than to allow Russia to purchase a nice chunk of the world's plutonium to be used for nuclear weapons. But, if there is money to be made, she'll sell our country and do it, just like her husband. Luckily, the country is rid of the the two biggest crooks since Bonnie and Clyde.
