Blood is on he hands of liberals. Make no mistake they want Trump dead. I believe that most liberals are quietly supporting the shooting. They are just like Islam where they say publicly they are opposed to the violence but are quietly supportive of it. Comcast who is supporting Shakespear in the park where Trump is killed by stabbing and Maxine Waters who is so vial if it were reversed they would jail someone for saying it about Obama are just a few examples. MSNBC is another example of one whole station that is unhinged. Keith Olbermann is another that is so full of hate, Micheal Moore and others. The left wants Trump dead. Its that simple.
This is one of the more bizarre things I have read on here. Do you really believe this nonsense? This paranoid gibberish is exactly the same sort of demented "logic" that led to James Hodgkinson's act of crazed violence. Not a dime's worth of difference. This has more to do with aberrant psychology than it does with politics.
Probably because people like him are reasons why the shooter did what he did.
Not saying "ITS A DIRECT CORRELATION!" but...if you keep repeating over and over and over again how you hate someone, all it takes is some evil looney nutcase like the shooter to finally take action.
....
So if we go to rallies and chant, "Lock him up! Lock him up!" that would be over the line?
Colbert likely helped inspire the nut who shot at Republicans. Is he going to stop associating Republicans with death, stop support for political violence and political hate speech? If he does, his career is over.
Is anyone stupid enough to believe he is sincere? Colbert is a extremist liberal nutbag and nothing he says or does will change that. A zebra doesn't change its stripes.
Exactly.
Rather astounding, actually.
Depressing to realize that this passes for meaningful dialogue in some circles.
I'm a huge supporter of Trump. Been to rallies and a Thank-You tour stop. Lots of fun.
Gun violence would drop 90% today if liberals would stop shooting people.
To each his own.
I don't get the gun violence reference though. This was one wingnut who was an NRA supporter. If you are referring to criminals and gang bangers, those aren't liberals. They are criminals and gang bangers. They don't vote. Do you often see Lil Ray Ray in his red bandana with his gat in his waistband at the poles?

Good for Colbert. Though, I still miss normal late night comedy like Letterman and Leno...which is why I can still stomach Fallon and Kimmel because they at least are more moderate with their Trump jokes.
Oh please. You cannot blame anyone but the shooter for what he did. He was a nutcase.
Colbert was very sincere in his thanks to Trump. This is one instance everyone should be unified against the shooter.

If that's all you'll give me, I'll take it.
I think you and I agree that most reasonable, non-crazy Americans (to include democrats, republicans, and independents) do not want to see people getting shot.
