I am not saying that Cable News Channels are the best sources to get your news from....but
there is a little tiny thing called the first amendment to the Constitution that should make any Americans ashamed
at suggesting any news source should be shut down...it also violates the general thought and rule of Capitalism
where people can run and operate businesses.
It's sad that a Free Press and Media Source is so offensive to some.
If you don't like it, don't watch it.
How is that for a radical idea?
Same here. I don't even watch the local news channels.
If they actually reported the news and not their opinion of what was actually said or done it may be a different story. They beat a topic to death with their opinions.
all of them. Fox, CNN, MSNBC and whatever others. Everything goes.
it seems the main purpose of them is to create sensationalism so maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea.
maybe make the only one that exists is CSPAN which I believe is just reporting on actual events going on at the exact time
Look at the key demographics on all television, including all cable, it's folks over 40, mostly geriatric viewers. Under 40 people watch youtube, and go to various news websites like cbs.com, infowars.com, msnbc.com. Young folks get more news from Comedy Central than from any news or large media network.
Television is facing a shift in it's viewership, they are dying, thus ratings are down. How many sit and watch an evening of television anymore?
I cut the cord and canceled cable (satellite) more than 5 years ago. Haven't missed them at all. Put up an antenna for local TV and get the rest off Amazon, Netflix & Hulu.
