Ive seen quite a few gay events catering more to other causes than gay. I find it interesting that a gay parade was more about anti zionism and pro Palestinian than about being gay.
SO when St pattys day parade people say no LGBT flags flying because it's about being Irish not LGBT the gaystappo flips out but they have their little march and others want to fly jew pride flags it's not allowed?
What some of these love for all tree hugging hippies lefties don't get is that people/ groups will turn on you.
It is human nature.
So, all this money, time, and unconditional hold my hand cause all are accepted is a waste of time and tax payer money. They will come back and kick you to the curb to benefit their cause.
Meanwhile we have boys and men using the ladies restrooms and lockers rooms cause it is their gender they recognize with
They are freaks
It seems unreasonable to ask the Jews to leave. It's perfectly valid to be anti-Zionist and pro-Palestine, but the star of David isn't necessarily a symbol that belongs to Zionists. They may use it, but so would Jews who don't necessarily have a hardline position on the whole Israeli/Palestine debate. It's a Jewish symbol used by many Jews and to immediately assume it's an anti-Palestine symbol is unreasonable.
To be clear, the march was not kicking them out for being Jews. It was kicking them out under the assumption that they disagree with the anti-Zionist message that the organization who put on the march apparently holds.
My favorite gay British commentator, Douglas Murray, said it best when he said, "Gays for Palestine is absurd. If there really was an organization called Gays for Palestine in the region it would have to operate from within Israel!"
I love that quote. It's very funny but tragically true.
Why would organizers create a event to advocate for a group of people that is 99% Muslim, who advocates death to homosexuals??
Without any doubt the Arabs, including the Palestinian Arabs, and the Muslim states are the most oppressive in the world toward LGBT. The Iranian state executes gay people.
On the other hand, Israel is among the most liberal. Palestinian Arabs who have been outed as gay flee for their lives to Israel.
So yes it seems crazy that an LGBT person would support Arab/Muslim oppressive societies and attack Israel. It can be explained by understanding that the LGBT people who hate Israel do so in their identity as extreme leftists, not as LGBT people.
